Honor and Loyalty - GLOBALIZATION: a shade against awful dehumanization

Long presented as a philanthropic work of civilization of peoples considered scientifically uneducated and culturally backward, colonization experienced its heydays.

Very quickly, however, the laudable intention displayed will serve as a shade for dishonourable acts of predation, which will be attempted to be classified within the framework of purely accidental opportunism.

Pondering on what is opportunistic and accidental in the planning, financing, promotion and conduct of expeditions to take control of distant lands in order to plunder their wealth.

The extermination, enslavement and deportation of entire populations, the prohibition of local cult and cultural practices, the destruction and looting of objects of indigenous art, all this would only constitute an insignificant outgrowth on the project of propagation of universal science, of which only a minority claimed to be the depository until then, according to some.

However, it would be wrong to believe that the legal end of slavery or colonization will have put an end to any desire of domination.

On the contrary, the old ambition of global totalitarianism, which was said to be in the process of elapsing, is regaining more vitality.

As proof, the vast campaign of intellectual, moral and societal subversion launched in the direction of the least financially advantaged nations. With the difference that instead of the galleon of yesteryear, which was its flagship, new information and communication technologies act as a Trojan horse in the current rush in attempts to isolate our people. Since these NICTs are now used as weapons of mass destruction of the same knowledge, to which they were supposed to facilitate access.

It is true that the path to hell is paved with good intentions.

The incitement of disrespectful attitudes towards the State and its symbols, contempt for codes of conduct in the society, the out datedness of secular practices, the forced legitimation of evil to the detriment of virtue; all these facts have in the long term tend to the emergence of the African lack of conscience, this spiritual disposition which is the only sustenance likely to allow him to survive during dehumanization and therefore, to preserve his capacity to think and decide.

Because at the time of imitative conformism encouraged by directive slogans themselves carried by a permissive and libertine infosphere, thinking and deciding have become properties in danger of rapid extinction, because they are against the tides of the tendency to copy and paste everything Thus, the coronavirus, which is believed to be of African origin, would only cause death in Africa; and it is only in Africa where the barrier measures taken with a view to containing it will be accused of undermining the exercise of freedom of expression.

As if the outpourings, promiscuity and crowd movements guaranteed some collective immunity to Africans.

Likewise, the rare travel restrictions decreed by our governments are taken for mass imprisonment, by those even who under other skies were yet subjected and remain subject to endless suites of confinement and reconfinement.

Insidiously oriented points of view, greedily embraced by many of our brothers and sisters, more concerned with reconciling the good graces of predators than with the well-being of their communities of origin.

No need then to question the emergence, persistence and recurrence of unknown or marginal deviations, which affect the present and obliterate the future of our African societies. Child crime, homosexuality and terrorism are such deviations.

Yet, the maxim says it and repeats it, what a lie that comes from afar. He who have ears!!!
