Cameroon - Honor and Loyalty : IMPOSED GLOBALISATION: A real cultural and intellectual poison

Analysts of the internal conflicts that are shaking many countries around the world attribute these upheavals, which are very often disruptive for some and downright devastating for others, to the proven ineptitude of state institutions in managing matters relating to the physical and moral security of people and their property. According to these observers, trafficking of all kinds, especially arms and drugs, organised and serious crime, moral decadence and other sources of instability are simply the consequences of the incompetence of government officials.

This observation is partly true, but it is also fundamentally flawed. While the social inequalities that are the source of much frustration have been identified and endorsed by the authorities, who are trying to reduce them, we should, in the interests of fairness and efficiency, question the activism of pressure groups with the most unusual agendas. In the same way, we should question the methods of certain cultural, political, economic, media, sports and humanitarian expansionists, all of them coercive, intrusive and exclusionary, all of them hiding under the banner of unscrupulous and ultimately hegemonic liberalism.

It is now common knowledge that the still distant footsteps of the violent, idyllic mass movements that shook many countries were in no way spontaneous popular revolutions, as they were portrayed by a certain ideological and media dictatorship with a single opinion. These so-called spring tensions, which people who were unaware of their origin and purpose hoped would erupt in our country, were part of a vast programme to reshape the geopolitical configuration of the planet.

Since then, the remote-controlled storm of insurrection has calmed down somewhat, without the countries over which it blew noticing any improvement, either economically or in terms of security. The facts are there for all to see, for those who dare to see what they see. They are the most numerous, though silent. They are aware that the erosion of the social foundations of our social cohesion continues relentlessly and virulently, although with less glitz.

And so it is with the patriarchy of our secular societies, a regime that is stigmatised every time there is a question of normalising a marginal and very often amoral practice. This is the case with same-sex sexual relations and the alleged right of women to freely dispose of their bodies. A right whose sole purpose is to suppress life as much as possible. Since both practices negate our ambition to perpetuate our species, they contradict our customs and beliefs. And yet they are imposed on us as universal values through harmful rhetoric.

Security is no exception to this campaign to distort our perceptions. When pickpocketing occurs in our cities, it is immediately elevated to an endemic situation that the authorities are powerless to stop.  An easy diagnosis for the uninformed, but a judgement that is far from innocent, especially for those who find it difficult to believe the dozens of crimes that are committed every day in their countries, whose services are more advanced than ours.

More than ever, our way of being, our way of understanding situations and our freedom of choice is the target of infiltration attempts and constant attacks, all of which are aimed first of all at making us doubt our origins to distort us, then at setting us against one another to weaken us, and finally at subjugating us once again.

The antidote to this cultural and intellectual poison is authenticity, patriotism and education. We have been warned. /-
