Cameroon - Honor and Loyalty : World peace: an Africa gaining influence, an Africa with freedom of choice, at last!!!

The non-conformity of our States with the rules laid down by the formerly dominant ideologies will never win us the favour of the hegemonic conglomerate of arsonists-fire-fighters-mediators-lesson givers, plenipotentiaries of the exploits of a certain international community with variable geometry.

It is this military-industrial, intellectual and cultural complex that is using media platforms to spread its slander, defamation and other criminal injunctions against the African initiative of reconciling the apparent protagonists of war in Europe. In its eyes, Africa is guilty of a double foul, the history of which is unknown.

The first of these so-called errors was the refusal of a significant number of African countries to conform to the Manichaeism that required choosing one side between the Eastern European belligerents, with any middle way considered at best an alternative and at worst a prohibition. For some, this was a way of reviving the methods of a bygone era and trying to perpetuate the supremacy of their outdated ideas.

However, by resolutely refusing to bark with the pack, Africa intends to assert its right to misalignment, in other words, its right to a different, non-contingent opinion, without this being considered secondary, in the disdainful and derogatory sense of the word “alternative”. Obviously, such an attitude is nothing less than blatant disobedience and, at the same time, an extremely serious offence.

Not satisfied with this incongruity, African leaders went so far as to lead a goodwill mission to the belligerents of the North Pole. This change of position was perceived by the usual mediators on duty as an act of profound greed. The crime of betrayal could not go unpunished.

But we live in an era of globalisation of trade and issues that affect our presence on the planet. Not to mention that this war of supremacy is upsetting the already precarious economic, food, health and security equilibrium of our societies. Since we are affected, we should rightly be interested.

However, for a community of irrigators to accuse us of irrigation is pure hypocrisy that could be likened to moral terrorism. In this case, as in many others, they have done no better than us. Moreover, since the concepts of reciprocity and collective responsibility are fixed rules in international relations, the quest for peace should not be the prerogative of any particular person; every State and citizen should contribute to it.

And regardless of the current disinformation campaign, our continent has been eagerly anticipated and impatiently awaited on the world stage for a long time. It is no longer just a pool of raw materials at the disposal of outside players, who are quick to exploit it in a rather aggressive and gluttonous manner, with contracts that are very often questionable, if not virtually free. Nor is it a sponge condemned to absorb all the lessons, however absurd, of the rulers of the past.

An Africa gaining influence, an Africa with freedom of choice, at last!!!
